MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641018002 A) filed by B V Raju Institute Of Technology; Chagam Reddy Subba Rami Reddy; Sainadh Singh Kshatri; and Banala Saritha, Narsapur, Telangana, on Feb. 18, for 'artificial intelligence-based self-learning system for real-time state of health assessment and end-of-life prediction of electric vehicle battery systems.'

Inventor(s) include Chagam Reddy Subba Rami Reddy; Sainadh Singh Kshatri; and Banala Saritha.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is related to an artificial intelligence based system for the real time monitoring and prediction of SoH and EOL of electric vehicle batteries. The system has sensors that are designed to gather operational parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and usage data. The system has an artificial intelligence module, which is configured to analyse the data collected, to determine the health of the battery, degradation and predict the remaining useful life and End-of-Life conditions. The system has a self-learning mechanism so the artificial intelligence models keep updating with real-time data in order to enhance the accuracy of predicting. The system delivers real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance recommendations and failure alerts. The invention helps improve the battery reliability, safety, optimize battery use, and increase battery lifetime in the use of electric vehicles."
