MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641006902 A) filed by Sakalyatec Private Limited, Kozhikode, Kerala, on Jan. 23, for 'artificial intelligence (ai)-based system and method for monitoring and managing dosha balance and health using ayurvedic principles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Aditya Manu; and Dr. Adhithyan Ellath.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system and method for monitoring and managing dosha balance and health using Ayurvedic principles. The system includes a wearable device comprising sensors configured to capture health data and transmit the data to a computing device. An encrypted database stores user data, including State of Dosha (SOD), health data, response data, lifestyle routines, dietary intake, baseline health profile, environmental data such as location and weather, and physiological parameters representing Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas. The computing device, in communication with encrypted database and wearable device, analyzes the collected data to generate a personalized baseline health profile. The system calculates a real-time SOD using a hybrid weighted model that integrates health data, user inputs, environmental factors, and baseline health information. When the SOD exceeds a predetermined threshold, the system generates and communicates personalized recommendations to maintain dosha balance and overall well-being."
