According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a helmet system (100) with an upper helmet shell (102) and a lower articulated segmented neck assembly (104) for dynamic cervical protection. Segments (106) interconnected via hinge or ball-and-socket joints (108) allow controlled motion while absorbing impact forces using viscoelastic inserts (110). The helmet shell (102) uses lightweight reinforced composites (112). Comfort liners (114), ventilation ducts (116), and optional smart sensors (118) enhance ergonomics, flexibility, and safety. The modular design allows individual segments (106) to be replaced or customized. The helmet provides continuous neck coverage, impact energy redistribution, and improved comfort over conventional helmets."
