MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024841 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'article cleaning assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Dhirendra Nath Thatoi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An article cleaning assistive device comprises, an elongated body 101 attached with a handle 102 at a proximal end, that is gripped by a user for positioning body 101 at an object that is to be cleaned, a microphone 103 is integrated to provide input voice commands, a imaging unit 104 integrated for capturing and processing multiple images, plurality of motorized brushes 105 arranged via an extendable L-shaped rods 106 to extend or retract for positioning brushes 105, a motorized ball bearing 108 is installed for providing controlled movement to brush, a projection unit 109 installed for projecting laser beams, a speaker 110 is installed for producing audio, a color sensor coupled with a corrosion sensor for differentiating between type of accumulated dust, a tactile sensor embedded for detecting hardness of object."
