MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202247062276 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Hefei Boe Display Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Nov. 1, 2022, for 'array substrate and preparation method therefor, and display device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An array substrate and a preparation method therefor, and a display device. The array substrate comprises a plurality of gate lines (20) and a plurality of data lines (50) provided on a substrate (11). The plurality of gate lines (20) extend along a first direction, the plurality of data lines (50) extend along a second direction, and the plurality of gate lines (20) and the plurality of data lines (50) intersect each other to define a plurality of sub-pixels. Each of the sub-pixels comprises a thin film transistor (10), a pixel electrode (80), and a common electrode (90). The common electrode (90) in one sub-pixel is connected to the common electrode (90) in an adjacent sub-pixel by means of a common connection portion (110), and the common connection portion (110) and each gate line (20) have a first overlapping region. The first overlapping region has a first width in the first direction, the first overlapping region has a second width in the second direction, and the first width is less than the second width."
