MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055857 A) filed by Agc Inc., Tokyo, on June 10, for 'aqueous dispersion.'
Inventor(s) include Shibasaki Kosuke; Yanagiya Aoi; Toyoda Mizuna; and Taguchi Daisuke.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is an aqueous dispersion that has excellent storage stability and can form a coating film having excellent water resistance. The aqueous dispersion according to the present invention comprises a fluorinated polymer containing a TFE unit and a PAVE unit and a water-based medium, in which the amount of the PAVE unit is 20 to 60 mol% relative to the total amount of the TFE unit and the PAVE unit, the content of the fluorinated polymer is 0.1 to 40% by mass relative to the whole mass of the aqueous dispersion, the average particle diameter of the fluorinated polymer is 1 to 150 nm, the concentration of each of a fluoride ion and a sulfide ion is 50 ppm by mass or less relative to the whole mass of the water-based medium in the aqueous dispersion, and the concentration of a hydrocarbon-based emulsifying agent is 100 ppm by mass or less relative to the whole mass of the fluorinated polymer."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 13, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/044688.
