MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541109668 A) filed by TBMICS, Sangareddy, Telangana, on Nov. 11, 2025, for 'aquabotics - powered cute pod systems.'

Inventor(s) include Dr Bala Bhaskar Kalaparapu.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an aquabotics - powered cute pod system (100) 5 configured for microplastic detection, sea mine identification, continuous ocean monitoring, environmental safeguarding and clean-up simulation. The system comprises a biomimetic hull geometry module (101) selected from octopus-arm, conch spiral or streamlined fish configurations for enhanced hydrodynamic efficiency. An energy harvesting input module (102) including turbines, 10 piezoelectric oscillators and ionic deposition cells converts oceanic kinetic and ionic energy into electrical power, which is stored in an energy storage module (103) comprising capacitors and molten salt hybrid storage units. A sensor suite (105) including sonar, optical, chemical and magnetic sensors collect multimodal environmental data. A quantum processing subsystem (106) incorporating 15 nitrogen-vacancy diamond sensors and a quantum machine learning processor performs anomaly detection and signal discrimination. A decision module (107) enables adaptive navigation, mine avoidance and ecological mission execution, with communication supported via optical, sonic and laser transmission subsystems."
