MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072827 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on July 31, for 'apparatuses, methods, and medium for dual connectivity communication.'

Inventor(s) include Turtinen, Samuli Heikki; Koskela, Jarkko Tuomo; Wu, Chunli; and Henttonen, Tero.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose devices, methods and apparatuses for dual connectivity (DC) communication. In the embodiments, a terminal device determines an activation or deactivation of a SCG of the terminal device. Then, the terminal device flushes, based at least on the determining the activation or the deactivation of the SCG, one or more HARQ buffers associated with a PSCell of the terminal device. In this way, the performance of the DC communication system can be improved."
