MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521041722 A) filed by Parul University; Patel, Dr. Zarana; Patel, Dr. Jinal; Modi, Dr. Prabha; and Nagar, Dr. Ashish, Vadodara, Gujarat, on April 30, 2025, for 'apparatus for wax deposition studies.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An apparatus for evaluating wax deposition in pipelines is disclosed. It features a copper U-shaped tube connected to a peristaltic pump via a rubber tube. Crude oil, contained in a reservoir, is circulated through the U-shaped tube to assess wax deposition during the transportation of crude oil through pipelines."
