The apparatus (100) includes a pre-cooling chamber (110) disposed upstream of the cooling chamber (130) along a tube passage path and a guide block (190) disposed downstream of the cooling chamber (130) along the tube passage path. The pre-cooling chamber (110) is configured to cool the extruded tube (103), preventing vacuum formation within the cooling chamber (130). The guide block (190) is configured to prevent air flow through the downstream end of the cooling chamber (130)."
