MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011566 A) filed by Uno Minda Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'apparatus for testing durability of hand control module.'
Inventor(s) include Ramdas Marutirao Yadav; and Nital Gopal Phatkal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (500) for testing the durability of a hand control module (2) that comprises an environmental chamber (30), a drive mechanism (25) is configured to provide a translation motion to a rack and pinion mechanism (28). The hand control module is attached to a pinion gear mechanism (28b) through a clamping mechanism (35). The environmental chamber is configured to set the temperature of the chamber according to the testing conditions. A controller is configured to regulate the operation of the drive mechanism, and monitor various parameters of the hand control module. The rack and pinion mechanism ensures smooth and efficient translation motion for testing, leading to more accurate and reliable results. The driving mechanism, mounted outside the environmental chamber, provides robust and reliable movement for the apparatus. The clamping mechanism reduces the time for mounting the hand control module (2) on the apparatus (500)."
