MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517048757 A) filed by Kocher-Plastik Maschinenbau Gmbh, Sulzbach-Laufen, Germany, on May 20, for 'apparatus for producing plastic containers according to a form, fill and seal process.'
Inventor(s) include Sauter, Roland; Bauer, Steffen; Gohl, Waldemar; Kengeter, Dietmar; Kronmuller, Steffen; and Salvatierra, Maite Zalduendo.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an apparatus for producing plastic containers according to a form, fill and seal process, at least consisting of a forming device (12), an extruding device (16), and a production device (26) which, in a manufacturing position, forms plasticized plastic material coming from the extruding device (16) into the form of a tube and subsequently feeds the same to the forming device (12) for forming containers and fills said containers with a specifiable fluid before the containers are sealed, characterized in that, by means of a transport device (32), at least the production device (26) can be brought into at least two different positions, of which one corresponds to the manufacturing position and at least one other position is used to perform a different task."
