Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Apparatus For Processing Recycled Plastic Material For Granule Forming, And Associated Method' Filed by Gamma Meccanica S. P. A.

MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055547 A) filed by Gamma Meccanica S. P. A., Bibbiano, Italy, on June 9, for 'apparatus for processing recycled plastic material for granule forming, and associated method.'

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An apparatus (1) for processing recycled plastic material for granule forming, comprising: - means (2) for the extrusion of plastic material to be recycled in order to obtain a stream of melted plastic material that can move along an advancement direction (A), - means (3) for introducing a deodorization fluid in the stream of melted plastic material, and - an assembly (4) for degassing the stream of melted plastic material additized with the deodorization fluid; the introduction means (3) are arranged between the extrusion means (2) and the degassing assembly (4) along the advancement direction (A)."
