MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441011419 A) filed by Dr Rakesh P, Mannarkad, Kerala, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'apparatus for preparing kshara.'

Inventor(s) include Dr Rakesh P.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An apparatus for the preparation of Kshara wherein said apparatus aids in enhancing the output, reduce the time frame for the preparation, and lower the wastage of materials. Said apparatus comprises of a heating furnace (1) featuring two doors, blower opening, centrifugal filter (2), and boiling chamber (3), wherein the centrifugal filter is connected to said boiling chamber through a pipe (4) regulated by a valve, wherein the ash of raw materials collected form the furnace is placed inside the filtering chamber of the centrifugal filter, wherein after centrifuging, the suspended particles collected in the outer chamber of the centrifugal filter is transferred to the boiling chamber through the pipe, wherein the contents are boiled under kshara in powder form is retrieved."
