MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611007147 A) filed by Batx Energies Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, on Jan. 24, for 'apparatus and method for filtration of leach solution.'

Inventor(s) include Vikrant Singh.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An apparatus (102) for filtration of a leach solution in metal extraction applications. The apparatus (102) includes a customized slurry transfer pump (104) configured to deliver a slurry including solid materials and a leach solution to a first filtration unit (106). The first filtration unit (106) separates the solid materials to obtain a filtered solution, which is subsequently directed to a second filtration unit (108). The second filtration unit (108) employs a micro-polymer filtration process to remove residual impurities while retaining dissolved lithium, nickel, cobalt, and manganese. A control unit (110) is operatively coupled to the customized slurry transfer pump (104), the first filtration unit (106), and the second filtration unit (108). The control unit (110) is configured to automatically regulate operation of the customized slurry transfer pump (104), the first filtration unit (106), and the second filtration unit (108), based on a plurality of parameters."
