MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527078707 A) filed by Hansoh Bio Llc; Shanghai Hansoh Biomedical Co. Ltd; and Changzhou Hansoh Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Rockville, U.S.A., on Aug. 19, for 'antibodies, antigen-binding fragments and methods of use.'

Inventor(s) include Li, Qing; and Zhou, Ningyun.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are antibodies or antigen-binding fragments that specifically recognize human liver-intestine cadherin, and the pharmaceutical use thereof.The antibody or antigen-binding fragment containing specific amino acid sequences. The antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof has high specificity and affinity to liver-intestine cadherin, and can mediate the killing of liver-intestine cadherin expressing cells. Therefore, further relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof, and use thereof in the preparation of medicament for the prevention and/or treatment of tumors."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 23, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/078324.
