MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611002033 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Jan. 8, for 'anti-vibration eyewear holder system for trains.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Anti-Vibration Eyewear Holder System for Trains (100) is a secure, compact, and ergonomic device designed to hold eyewear on train berths, preventing slippage, falls, or damage during motion. The system (100) comprises a base clamp/magnetic mount (102), a vibration-dampening interface (112), a soft-grip cradle (104), and a flexible neck (106), with optional LED illumination (108) and lock mechanism (110). The cradle (104) cushions and grips eyewear, while the interface (112) absorbs vibrations. The neck (106) allows ergonomic adjustment. Optional LED (108) aids visibility in low-light conditions, and lock (110) prevents displacement. Modular and lightweight, system (100) is easy to install, retrofit existing coaches, and maintain, providing a reliable, safe, and convenient solution for passenger eyewear storage in railway environments."
