MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202444041911 A) filed by Karpagam College Of Engineeriing, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on May 30, 2024, for 'anti-detect browser with custom fingerprinting for enhanced online privacy.'

Inventor(s) include Surenther I; Dharani E; Sabarish S; Shalini M; and Yazhini K.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In the contemporary digital landscape marked by privacy concerns and heightened surveillance, the demand for tools to safeguard online identities and activities is on the rise. Traditional browsers often leave discernible traces, known as fingerprints, enabling tracking and profiling across platforms. Existing anonymization solutions are limited in scope and effectiveness. This invention introduces an anti-detect browser system employing custom fingerprinting techniques across Windows, Android, macOS, Linux, and iPhone. Unlike standard browsers, this system dynamically generates and modifies over 80,000 unique fingerprints, impeding accurate user identification and profiling."
