MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090839 A) filed by Zte Corporation, Guangdong, China, on Sept. 23, for 'antenna panel indication method and apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an antenna panel indication method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving antenna panel indication information sent by a terminal; and determining a correspondence between terminal signal transmission and antenna panels according to the antenna panel indication information. The problem in the related art of how to implement simultaneous signal transmission using a plurality of antenna panels can be solved. A base station determines a correspondence between terminal signal transmission and antenna panels by receiving antenna panel indication information reported by a terminal, and accordingly, the base station can know when and which signals or channels can be scheduled to the terminal for simultaneous transmission on a plurality of antenna panels, thereby achieving simultaneous signal transmission scheduling for the terminal on the plurality of antenna panels."
