MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105653 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'animal hoof caring device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Menka Bhasin.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An animal hoof caring device, comprising a housing 101 configured with plurality of Omni-directional wheels 102 adapted to be maneuvered over a ground, an imaging unit 103 to detects presence of the animal's leg, a pair of telescopic cushioned grippers 104 to extend and gently grip the animal's leg, a L-shape telescopic bar 105 with a motorized pin 106 position the brush over the dirt and debris, an electronic nozzle 107 attached to a chamber 108 to dispense the water, a motorized air blower 109 to direct a controlled stream of air towards the cleaned hoof for drying, a motorized ball and socket joint 110 to provide multidirectional movement to the pin 106, an electronic valve 111 to dispense a predefined amount of the disinfection solution over the cleaned hoof for ensuring hoof hygiene and preventing infection."
