MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547083310 A) filed by Te Connectivity Solutions Gmbh, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, on Sept. 2, for 'angled connector.'
Inventor(s) include Stauffer, Kevin; and Evans, Nicholas Lee.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A connector (100) comprises a shield (110, 120, 130), a contact (190) and a dielectric (150). The shield (110, 120, 130) includes a first section (122) extending in a first direction and a second section (124) extending from the first section at a bend angle in a second direction. The dielectric (150) is arranged within the shield (120) and defines a first section (152) extending in the first direction and a second section (154) extending from the first section at the bend angle in the second direction. The contact (190) is wholly arranged within the dielectric (150) and includes a connecting end (194) adapted to connect to a cable (180) and a mating end (192) adapted to engage with a mating contact. The mating end (192) extends in the first direction and the connecting end (194) extends from the mating end at the bend angle in the second direction."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 02, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050979.
