According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An anesthesia management system, comprising a wearable band 101 adapted to be worn circumferentially over a patient's head, multiple electroencephalography (EEG) electrodes 102 fixedly such that electrodes 102 contact patient's scalp when worn, the EEG electrodes 102 being electrically connected to a microcontroller associated with system to monitor cortical electrical activity, a bi-spectral index (BIS) processing module 103 to convert EEG signals into a numerical depth-of-anesthesia index, an arterial pressure sensing module comprising a non-invasive arterial pressure sensor 106 and an invasive pressure sensor 106 connected to an arterial line of the patient, herein arterial pressure sensing module to provide real-time cardiovascular data of patient, an anesthesia delivery module and comprising a micro-infusion syringe pump 110 fluidly to deliver controlled intravenous anesthetic agentsand solenoid-controlled vaporizer valve to modulate the flow of anesthetic vapor within the gas delivery pathway."
