MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441080103 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 11, 2024, for 'anchor rod installation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An anchor rod installation device, comprises a circular base 1 having a hollow cylindrical pipe 2, an iris lid 3 hold the end of the impact drill 10, a slot 4 accommodates the rod, pair of parallel sliders 5 with clamps 6 hold the rod that is to inserted into the ground, ultrasonic sensor detects the diameter of the rod, a tactile sensor detects the hardness of the ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 captures images of the vicinity, a speaker 8 generates audio alert for the user regarding changing of the rod."
