MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641050116 A) filed by Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering, Bangalore, Karnataka, on April 20, for 'analog audio mixer with integrated feedback prevention and pc/laptop interface compatibility.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rahulkumar J; Kiran Sangamesh Hattalli; Kiran Shivaraj Hulihalli; Kushanth S S; and Koushalyarama.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a custom-designed analog audio mixer configured for full-duplex communication in generalized applications such as meetings, conferences, and online communication systems. The mixer enables simultaneous speaking and listening while maintaining high audio clarity and eliminating feedback. The system integrates microphone, speaker, and personal computer (PC) interfaces through a hardware-based architecture. It comprises an input stage, pre-amplification stage, equalization stage, signal routing stage, level conversion stage, and output stage. A key feature of the invention is the prevention of PC output audio from re-entering the mixer input path, thereby eliminating feedback loops without requiring software-based signal processing. The mixer ensures impedance compatibility with computer microphone inputs and maintains stable, distortion-free audio output using entirely analog circuitry."
