MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321085963 A) filed by L'Oreal, Paris, on Dec. 15, 2023, for 'an oxidizing composition for dyeing and/or lightening of keratin fibres, methods, and use thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Agawane, Sagar; Gaikwad, Sangeeta; and Dagwar, Kishor.

The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an oxidizing composition comprising at least one oxidizing agent, at least one fatty alcohol, at least one oxyalkylenated fatty alcohol, at least one oxyalkylenated fatty amide, and water, wherein the total amount of the oxyalkylenated fatty amide(s) is greater than 1.5% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, and the composition has a pH of less or equal to 5. The 10 composition achieves improved cosmetic properties and colour delivery. The present disclosure also provides a method for the application of the composition and uses thereof."
