MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541044309 A) filed by Moldwell Products India Private Limited, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on May 7, 2025, for 'an outward toggle mechanism for an injection molding machine and a die casting machine.'
Inventor(s) include Mangalasseril Phillipose Saju; and Soundararaj Ramakrishnan.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A toggle mechanism (100) with an outward toggle movement includes a primary toggle pair having a short toggle (101) and a long toggle (102), a secondary toggle pair having a crosshead slide (105) and a drive toggle (107) and a moving platen (103) is connected to the long toggle (102). The crosshead slide (105) moves along crosshead guide rods (105-a, 105-b). The short toggle (101) has a fork-shaped structure. A fixed end of the short toggle (101) is connected to the end platen (104), and other end of the short toggle (101) is connected to the long toggle (102). The primary toggle pair moves outward when a reversing force is applied on the crosshead (105), and a force is applied to the fixed end, and a resistance force is applied to the other end of the short toggle (101)."
