Inventor(s) include Sanjay Ramkrishna Sange; Avinash Narayanrao Bhute; Kalpna Lalitkumar Chaudhary; Nandkishor Bundele; Manya Gidwani; Shivshankar Jalamsingh Bhutekar; Jyoti Vijay Bansode; Reshma Patil; Jalpa Darshit Mehta; and Dhanajay Newalkar.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an orthogonal transform-based coding-decoding system (100) and a method for bandwidth-optimized transmission in video processing comprises a video acquisition unit (102) to capture images in RGB format; a pre-processing unit (104) to resize and convert the rectangle-sized image into square-sized images; a hybrid encoding unit (106) to convert the square-sized images into an encoded form; a storage buffer (108) to store the hybrid encoded image; a socket-based transmission unit (110) to encapsulate the hybrid encoded image data into packets and transmit the packets over a transmitting terminal to a receiving terminal; a hybrid decoding unit (112) to receive transmitted packets, reconstruct the compressed image data, apply an inverse wavelet transform followed by an inverse half-tone process to obtain decoded images; and a display unit (114) to display the decoded images in real-time with reduced execution time and enhanced compression factor."
