MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611005852 A) filed by Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Jan. 20, for 'an oral probiotic capsule formulation for enhanced gut immunity modulation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an oral probiotic capsule formulation (10) for enhanced gut immunity modulation. The formulation comprises a probiotic core (20), an encapsulation system (30), and a functional excipient matrix (40). The encapsulation system protects probiotic strains from gastric degradation and enables controlled intestinal release. Upon release, the probiotic strains interact with intestinal epithelial cells (60) and immune cells (70), promoting balanced immune signaling and improved gut barrier function. The invention provides a stable, effective, and targeted probiotic delivery system."
