MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521121897 A) filed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 4, 2025, for 'an oral composition, method of preparation and its utility.'
Inventor(s) include Dokania, Shashank; Aphale, Parth; and Shekhar, Himanshu.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an oral composition for rapid and effective reduction of acne comprising Berberis aquifolium Q, Sulphur Q, Kali bromatum 3X, Hepar sulphuris calcareum 6X, Echinacea angustifolia Q, Juglans regia Q, along with other acceptable excipients.
