The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an integrated two-echelon supply chain model comprising a producer and a supplier, designed to optimize total supply chain costs while incorporating financial, operational, and environmental factors. The system comprises time-dependent holding costs, agile production rates, dynamic demand influenced by selling price and trade credit terms, and a two-level trade credit policy. Inventory dynamics and deterioration are represented using differential equations, while total costs, including production, setup, holding, item, and environmental costs, are minimized through mathematical optimization. The invention provides a comprehensive framework for balancing efficiency, profitability, and sustainability in supply chain management."
