MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621004885 A) filed by SVERI's College of Engineering, Pandharpur, Maharashtra, on Jan. 18, for 'an online crime reporting tool.'

The system comprises 5 10 a web/mobile user interface (10), a backend engine (12) built on ASP.NET Core, and a SQL Server database (14) for structured storage of reports, evidence, and officer assignments. A law enforcement dashboard (22) allows authorized personnel to manage and update complaints in real time. An integrated notification module (16) sends alerts via SignalR (18), and an AI analytics module (20) employs ML.NET to detect crime patterns and generate predictive insights. The system supports multi-user roles, secure authentication, anonymous reporting, and cloud deployment. It offers a scalable, transparent, and proactive crime reporting and management solution."
