MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641007229 A) filed by Rajgopal G, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Jan. 24, for 'an irrigation pipe connector assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An irrigation pipe connector assembly, comprising a body, two connecting parts with inlets and one or more outlets. Said body having a hollow opening across at an inner surface across two ends. Two connecting part with inlets being provided at both ends of the body to connect main water pipe. A single way, two way or three way outlets are centrally provided either adjacently or in opposite direction on an outer surface of the body. Said outlets are protruded from the outer surface of the body to connect one or more irrigation pipe. An outer surface of the outlets having a zig-zag structure with a locking point at an end for snugly locking the connected irrigation pipe and wherein, the locking point is twisted upwardly with small hooks are provided around at the outlet connected part of the body of the pipe connector assembly to automate the locking of irrigation pipe, when inserted into the said outlets."
