MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421020444 A) filed by G. H. Raisoni College Of Engineering; and G. H. R. Labs And Research Centre, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on March 19, 2024, for 'an iot based swimming pool monitoring system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an IOT based swimming pool monitoring system an innovative integration of IOT technology aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and convenience in swimming pool management. This system comprises a network of strategically positioned sensors, including digital thermometers, temperature and humidity sensors, water level sensors, pH sensors, and an accelerometers and gyroscopes, connected to a central hub via microcontrollers. The central hub employs intelligent software for real-time data analysis, enabling proactive monitoring of critical parameters such as water temperature, humidity, pH levels, and drowning risks. Through seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, the sensors continuously transmit data to the central hub, facilitating timely alerts to designated administrators or staff terminals in case of emergencies. This system revolutionizes swimming pool management by providing automated monitoring, early hazard detection, and efficient resource utilization, thereby ensuring enhanced safety, reduced operational costs, and improved user experience."
