MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641047949 A) filed by B V Raju Institute Of Technology, Narsapur, Telangana, on April 15, for 'an intelligent waste-to-energy conversion system with iot-based real-time monitoring and control.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. G. Naresh Kumar; Vepuri Dhanunjaya; G. Desouja Sreeja; A. Bhavya Sreeja; and P. Sowmith.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart waste-to-energy conversion system integrated with IoT based monitoring. The system converts heat generated from biodegradable waste into electrical energy using thermoelectric generators. A boost converter enhances the output voltage, while sensing modules measure electrical parameters and transmit data through a Wi-Fi enabled microcontroller to a cloud monitoring platform. The proposed system provides a low-cost, portable and sustainable solution for energy generation and real-time performance monitoring suitable for off-grid and rural applications."
