MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641018217 A) filed by Nitte, Mangaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 18, for 'an intelligent system for automatic environmental adaptation in a pet umbrella device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is an intelligent system for automatic environmental adaptation in a pet umbrella device (100) comprises a wearable harness mount (102) configured to be removably secured to a body of a pet and to support an umbrella mechanism. The system also includes a plurality of environmental sensing modules (104). The system also includes a motion sensing module (106) configured to detect movement direction, speed, orientation, and acceleration of the pet. A processing unit (108) configured to receive sensor data, perform multi-sensor fusion, classify environmental conditions, determine pet motion states, and autonomously generate control signals. At least one actuation assembly (110) configured to automatically deploy, retract, tilt, rotate, or reposition an umbrella canopy. A collapsible umbrella canopy (112) configured to provide protection against rain, sunlight, heat, or other environmental conditions. The system also includes a power supply unit (114) comprising a rechargeable battery integrated with the harness mount."
