MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541134562 A) filed by Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'an intelligent hybrid framework for real-time ip abuse detection using traffic analysis, reputation intelligence and machine learning.'

Inventor(s) include E. Lalitha; N. Sri Prathamesh; D. Ashish Varma; S. Sai Sushanth; and K. Lalith Surya.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an intelligent IP abuse detection framework that integrates network traffic analysis, security information and event management, reputation intelligence, and machine learning techniques. Network traffic logs generated by a traffic monitoring module (110) are forwarded via a log agent (120) to a centralized security management server (130) for decoding and correlation. Decoded events are enriched using an IP reputation integration module (140) and analyzed by a machine learning inference module (150) to detect anomalous behavior. Enriched alerts are indexed (160) and visualized through a dashboard (170), enabling real-time identification of abusive IP activities with improved accuracy and reduced false negatives."
