According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Retail shop owners faces challenges managing multiple standalone devices for calculations, payment processing, transaction tracking, and counterfeit detection-leading to inefficiencies, errors, and financial risks. This invention presents a breakthrough, all-in-one smart retail assistant that integrates a calculator, UPI sound box, POS terminal, and counterfeit currency detector into a single portable device. It simplifies operations by enabling real-time UPI and card payment tracking via SIM connectivity, and allows instant QR code generation based on calculated totals. Dual displays enhance usability for both merchant and customer. The integrated counterfeit detection system uses UV light absorption, magnetic sensing, and ink colour analysis to identify fake notes. Connected to a smartphone application, it auto-records transactions, syncs with inventory, backs up data to the cloud, and generates monthly financial summaries-minimizing manual effort and errors. This unified system transforms how small retailers operate by streamlining tasks, increasing accuracy, and ensuring security in day-to-day transactions."
