According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An integrated electric propulsion system for UAV/drone The invention provides an integrated propulsion system (10) comprising a power source (24) including a plurality of batteries, a propulsion unit including a toroidal-shaped propellers (14) with thick airfoils, a brushless DC motor (20) integrated with a driver and an electronic speed controller (ESC, 21), an IoT-based battery management system (BMS, 33) and microcontroller (28) that provides real-time monitoring and control of battery parameters, a plurality of mounting platforms (13) including an upper mounting platform and a lower mounting platform, a battery elimination circuit (BEC, 23) and potentiometer (22), a plurality of cables including a charging cable (31) and a flight controller cable (32) and an enclosure unit including an upper cowl (11) with internal (18) threading and a lower cowl (16) with external (19) threading that are fastened together using threading and a covering unit (15) placed over entire propulsion system (10)."
