MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611021045 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 23, for 'an integrated digital decision-support system and method for retail investment analysis and portfolio management.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Satyam Kumar Tiwari; Saurya Gupta; Priyanshu Gupta; Sahaj Tyag; Dr. Sachin Jain; and Mr. Mahesh Kumar Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an integrated digital decision-support system and method for retail investment analysis and portfolio management. The system comprises a distributed microservices-based computing architecture including multi-source data ingestion engines, fundamental and technical analysis processing modules, a composite IPO evaluation engine, and an adaptive intelligent presentation layer. Real-time financial data streams from heterogeneous sources are normalized, synchronized, and processed through bidirectional analytical feedback loops to generate unified, low-latency investment decision outputs. The coordinated hardware-software interaction reduces computational redundancy, processor-level context switching, network latency, and memory overhead. The system further incorporates cognitive load-optimized interface mechanisms to enhance information presentation efficiency and mitigate behavioral biases. Empirical evaluation demonstrates improved decision-making speed, reduced cognitive load, enhanced portfolio diversification, and improved risk-adjusted returns. The invention thereby provides a technically advanced, scalable, and industrially applicable computing solution for real-time financial data processing and investment decision support."
