MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541134169 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Science, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'an integrated device for flow field monitoring and a method of manufacturing thereof.'
Inventor(s) include M. M. Nayak; G. Narayanan; Pramod Kumar; Nithin B; Shreyas Srivatsa; and Ashutosh Patel.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an integrated device to detect one or more field variables of a 5 flow field and a method of manufacturing the integrated device. The integrated device comprises a semiconductor film including at least one first set of sensors disposed in the semiconductor film within at least one first set of predefined locations and at least one second set of sensors disposed in the semiconductor film within at least one second set of predefined locations different from the at least one first set of predefined locations. The at least one first 10 set of sensors and the at least one second set of sensors are disposed in a non-impeding manner with respect to spatio-temporal variations of the flow field and are configured to detect the one or more field variables of the flow field across a flow field area or volume."
