MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641007036 A) filed by Ola Electric Mobility Limited, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Jan. 23, for 'an insulator plate and a lid of a lid assembly.'
Inventor(s) include Nair, Aneesh TM; Ashturkar, Akshay Hemant; and Karthikeyan, Rajkumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Examples of an insulator plate and a lid of a lid assembly, are described. In an example, the insulator plate includes a main body including a first surface 5 and a second surface with the first surface including one or more projections extending orthogonally away and engage with corresponding depressions formed in the lid. In another example, the lid of the battery comprises a lid body including a lower surface and an upper surface with the lower surface including one or more protrusions extending orthogonally away and engage 10 with corresponding recesses formed in the insulator plate. In addition, the present subject matter describes a lid assembly comprising the lid and the insulator plate, which when assembled, the protrusions and depressions of the lid engage with the recesses and projection, respectively of the insulator plate."
