MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441006297 A) filed by Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited; and Robert Bosch Gmbh, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'an independent drive module in a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Thangam Sakthivel Thangavel; Ibrahim Bhadusha B; Veerasami Venkatachalam; Maheshkumar Thangavel; Ravichandran S Thangavel; and Ramkumar Tharmakani.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An independent drive module in a vehicle. The vehicle 12 comprises a steering unit 14 connected to at least one wheel 16 of the vehicle 12 via a connecting means 18. The drive module 10 comprises a rotatable gear unit 20, a connecting lever arm 22 and a lower connecting arm 24. The rotatable gear unit 20 positioned on a top portion of the at least one wheel 16 of the vehicle 12. The rotatable gear unit 20 is connected to the at least one wheel 16 via the connecting lever arm 22 and the lower connecting arm 24."
