MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441011323 A) filed by Mana Pharma Private Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'an improved process for the preparation of a 7-ethyl tryptophol.'
Inventor(s) include Sathyanarayana Swargam; Upender Rao Salavadi; Murugan Suresh Motta; Purushothaman Hemakumar Mudipalle; and Bhaskaraiah Marri.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of a Tryptophol intermediate of the formula (I), specifically 7- Ethyl Tryptophol. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of 2-substituted phenyl hydrazine."
