MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521038040 A) filed by Advantage Plus, Anand, Gujarat, on April 21, 2025, for 'an improved method for swaging free construction of glass lined head for reactor vessel.'

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An Improved Method For Swaging Free Construction Of Glass Lined Head For Reactor Vessel The present invention is for faster fabrication with reduced man power effort by making hole (4') with bevel on vessel head (2) for glass lined equipment as dimensions required. Where nozzle (3') specially designed as per geometry of cut out of hole (4') in vessel head (2) and radius (9) created on inner edge of nozzle (3'), this allows glass lining process without any sharp edges for continuous and long lasting enamel layers as process requirement. Welding (10) of nozzle (3') to vessel head (2) from outside is done using bevel on vessel head (2). This makes fabrication process easy, fast and hassle free. The location of the nozzle (3') in terms of X, Y and Z co-ordinates remains same for respective nozzle (3') as per the design requirement and repeatability for all vessel head (2). The present invention mainly used in petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, pesticide industry."
