MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621030395 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on March 13, for 'an ergonomic pestle with contoured fatigue-reducing grip configuration.'

Inventor(s) include Arya Mhetras; and Tanmayee Puntambekar.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an ergonomic pestle designed for use with a mortar, comprising a contoured handle adapted to conform to the natural gripping posture of a user's hand.
