MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311089037 A) filed by Shoolini University Of Biotechnology And Management Science, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, on Dec. 27, 2023, for 'an enhanced photocatalytic performance of g-c3n4/fe1mof composites for environmental remediation.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Garima Rana; Dr. Pooja Dhiman; Dr. Amit Kumar; and Dr. Gaurav Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses the synthesis of an Z-Scheme based g-C3N4-Fe-MOF nanocomposite for wastewater treatment and effective photodegradation of tetracycline under visible light. The nanocomposite having g-C3N4, Fe and MOF which is taken in the ratio of of 50:50; 30:70; 20:80. The nanocomposite exhibits a degradation efficiency of up to 87.12% within 120 minutes."
