MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096141 A) filed by Jcb Research, Rocester, U.K., on Oct. 6, for 'an engine control system.'
Inventor(s) include Patel, Divyesh; and Jeffery, Anthony.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An engine start system for a hydrogen fuelled internal combustion engine, the system comprising a controller; at least one fuel ignition device in communication with the controller; and a hydrogen fuel delivery system in communication with the controller; wherein the system is configured such that upon receipt of an engine start command, the controller is configured to instruct sparking of the fuel ignition device without instructing the supply of fuel to commence and is configured to monitor an output of the fuel ignition device for a signal indicative of the generation of a spark."
