According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an energy routing system (102) for a smart home (100) having a plurality of residential energy sources. The energy routing system (102) includes a plurality of source ports (110, 112, 114), an alternating current (AC) distribution port, a direct current (DC) distribution port, and a DC-link. The source ports (110, 112, 114) configured to receive electrical power from the respective residential energy sources. The alternating current (AC) distribution port is configured to supply AC power to residential AC loads. The direct current (DC) distribution port is configured to supply DC power to residential DC loads. The DC-link electrically interconnecting the source ports (110, 112, 114), the AC distribution port (116) and the DC distribution port (118) with each other, to route, dynamically, power to the AC and DC loads, and to coordinate power exchange across the residential energy sources and corresponding AC and DC loads."
