Inventor(s) include Thele, Prathmesh Sukhdeo; Daware, Sarja Shashank; Barabde, Tanaya Ajay; Holkhambe, Ranjeet Vilas; and Kore, Sandeep S.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is related to an energy independent road divider plant cutter and road cleaner machine. The energy-independent road divider plant cutter and road cleaner machine is a revolutionary rear-wheel attachment for trucks, designed to address challenges in road maintenance and landscaping. The invention seamlessly integrates a precision cutting system and a road cleaner module, utilizing the angular kinetic energy of the truck's rear wheels for simultaneous plant cutting and cleaning operations. Key components include the wheel rim connecting unit (101), speed-increasing gear assembly (102), perpendicular plant trimmers (103), circular road sweeper brush (104), support rolling wheel (105), and machinery supporting case (101). The innovative gearbox facilitates an output speed of 2083 RPM for the rotating sweeper brush and 1587 RPM for the perpendicular plant trimmer. The machinery operates without external energy sources, significantly reducing environmental impact and operational costs."
