MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611052915 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 25, for 'an energy absorption structure for vehicle crash safety.'
Inventor(s) include Ved Prakash; and Sanjay Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An energy absorption structure for vehicle crash safety includes an impact receiving member, a staged crush module, a deformation trigger arrangement, a lateral stabilization frame, a load transfer interface, and a protected zone isolation bracket. Collision force is received by the impact receiving member, progressively dissipated through sequential deformation of the staged crush module, stabilized against off-axis collapse by the lateral stabilization frame, and distributed through the load transfer interface while residual force toward a protected subsystem region is attenuated by the protected zone isolation bracket."
